Swedish hard rock band unveil the second single from their upcoming sophomore album scheduled for release on September 18
VELVETEEN QUEEN have released their new single and video, "Adrenaline", the second song unveiled from the band's upcoming album The Greater Good, scheduled for release on September 18 through Silver Lining Music.
Directed by Patric Ullaeus, the video accompanies a track inspired by life on the road and the band's commitment to rock music.
Discussing the song, the band commented:
"Some songs are written in studios. Adrenaline was written somewhere between no sleep, another city, and the next stage. Fueled by our love for rock 'n' roll and pure adrenaline, we just kept moving forward."
"Adrenaline" follows the release of the album's title track, "The Greater Good", which featured guest musician Peter Keys of Lynyrd Skynyrd on piano.
Earlier this year, Rockum covered the announcement of the album and the release of its title track in the article Velveteen Queen Announce The Greater Good And Unveil Title Track Video, documenting the first preview of the band's upcoming sophomore release.
Produced by Sören Andersen, The Greater Good follows the band's debut album and presents eleven new tracks combining hard rock, glam influences, and guitar-driven songwriting.
According to the band, the album was developed around material that reflects both energetic rock songs and more melodic compositions, including tracks such as "Talk Or Walk", "Liar", and "Chains".
In recent years, Velveteen Queen have appeared alongside artists including Alice Cooper and Judas Priest, continuing to expand their presence on the European rock circuit.
The band's next live appearance is scheduled for June 27 at Dalhalla in Rättvik, Sweden, where they will perform alongside Alice Cooper and Danko Jones.
