Berlin alternative metal band begin their Long Branch Records chapter with a new single and confirmed international festival dates
LUTHER have signed with Long Branch Records and released their new single and video, "Giving The People What They Want".
The song marks the band's label debut and follows recent live activity that included a performance at Rock For People in the Czech Republic and opening slots with bands such as Escuela Grind, Silly Goose, Urne, and Predatory Void.
Based in Berlin, LUTHER formed at the end of 2024 with musicians who had already been active within the city's underground metal and alternative scenes. In 2025, the band released its first single, "Next Time Send A Killer".
"Giving The People What They Want" combines alternative metal with elements connected to nu metal, progressive metal and hardcore. Lyrically, the track focuses on rejection, pressure, difficult circumstances and the idea of turning that struggle into performance.
The single was produced, mixed and mastered by Enrico Tiberi, current vocalist of The Ocean Collective.
The release also arrives as LUTHER continue building their festival schedule. The band have been announced for Reeperbahn Festival 2026 in Hamburg and will also perform at Envol et Macadam Festival in Quebec City, Canada, where the event is headlined by Bad Religion and Hatebreed.
