Italian power metal band preview their sixth studio album with a darker narrative single arriving before the October 2 release via Napalm Records
FROZEN CROWN have released the official video for "The One", the first single from the band's upcoming album The Legend Of The Six Kings, scheduled for release on October 2, 2026 through Napalm Records.
The song introduces the album's darker narrative direction and draws inspiration from twentieth-century fantasy literature, including J.R.R. Tolkien and The Lord Of The Rings. According to the band, the video also reflects visual influences connected to Robert E. Howard, expanding the fantasy world surrounding the new record.
"The One" follows the recent announcement of The Legend Of The Six Kings and the band's 2026 tour plans. Commenting on the new single, the band stated:
"'The One' marks a new beginning for FROZEN CROWN, showing the wicked, dark side of the band. Singer Giada 'Jade' Etro turns heel, claiming the throne and the literal 'frozen crown', leading the wraith kings to search for The One."
The video was created with filmmaker Raoul Noise and prop designer Daria Gislon, who helped bring the visual world of the album to life. The album cover artwork was painted by Sheila Franco.
The Legend Of The Six Kings is the band's sixth studio album and their second release through Napalm Records. The new record continues concepts connected to the band's debut album The Fallen King, expanding the saga of the Kings and the Tyrant while placing greater emphasis on narrative world-building.

Musically, the new album includes ten tracks and continues the band's heavy power metal direction while incorporating speed metal, symphonic metal and melodic death metal elements. The track list also includes a cover of "Iris", originally released by Goo Goo Dolls.
