Storm Force have announced Truth, a new album scheduled for release on August 14, 2026 through BraveWords Records. The band has also released “Truth”, the album’s title track, as the first single from the record.

Rockum previously reported on the band’s signing and album announcement in Storm Force Sign With BraveWords Records and Announce New Album ‘Truth’. Rockum also documented an earlier chapter in the band’s catalog with Storm Force Rock “Last Christmas”: The Unexpected Hard Rock Twist on Wham’s Holiday Classic.

“Truth” serves as the first single from the album of the same name. The track introduces the band’s second full-length release following Age Of Fear, which was issued in 2020 through Escape Music.

The press release includes an unattributed statement about Truth, describing the album as a continuation of what the band developed on Age Of Fear and noting the addition of drummer Roger Banks.

“With Truth, we wanted to take everything we learned from Age of Fear and raise the bar in every area. We pushed ourselves harder as songwriters and musicians, and the result is an album that's more powerful, more focused, and more dynamic than anything we've done before. The addition of drummer Roger Banks brought a new level of energy and intensity to the band, and everyone truly brought their A-game. We're incredibly proud of what we've created and believe Truth represents the next evolution of Storm Force. Age of Fear introduced Storm Force; Truth defines who we are.”

Truth is a ten-song album and the second full-length release from Storm Force. The source material describes the band’s sound as melodic hard rock connected to classic arena rock, with guitarist and songwriter Greg Fraser identified as the founder of the group.

The press release lists Whitesnake, Dokken, Scorpions and Bon Jovi as points of inspiration for the band’s approach to melodic hard rock.

A Bandcamp listening party for Truth is scheduled for August 12, 2026, two days before the album’s release.

Storm Force hail from Niagara Falls, Canada. The band is led by guitarist Greg Fraser, known for his work with Brighton Rock, a Canadian hard rock band associated in the press release with four Juno nominations and a gold album in Canada.

After Brighton Rock, Greg Fraser released two albums with Fraze Gang. For Storm Force, the source material states that he moved away from the frontman role and focused on building a band with local musicians.

Vocalist Patrick Gagliardi, formerly of Surface Tension, is credited in the press release as the band’s main lyricist on the debut album period. Storm Force completed its lineup with Mike Berardelli on bass and Roger Banks on drums.

The band’s debut album Age Of Fear was recorded at Hamster Cage Studios and produced by Darius Szczepaniak, whose credits listed in the source material include The Black Crowes, Sum 41 and Big Sugar.

As Storm Force prepare to release Truth, the album documents the band’s second full-length chapter following Age Of Fear and its move to BraveWords Records.
