The metalcore/post-hardcore outfit I Prevail partners with alt goth and grunge singer Amira Elfeky on “Paradise,” following previous Rockum coverage of Lifelines, Trash Boat and Halestorm collaborations
I Prevail have released “Paradise”, a collaborative track with alt goth and grunge singer Amira Elfeky. The song is accompanied by an official music video.
Rockum previously documented I Prevail’s Canadian certifications in I Prevail Paint Canada Gold: Lifelines Album & Four Singles Now Certified In The Great White North. Rockum also covered Trash Boat’s “Be Someone” featuring Eric Vanlerberghe of I Prevail and the Halestorm and I Prevail collaboration “Can U See Me In The Dark”.
According to I Prevail, the collaboration with Amira Elfeky developed through a writing opportunity that emerged naturally after the band had already been following her work.
“We've been fans of Amira for a while,” I Prevail stated. “She has such a distinct sound and style. The opportunity to write together came up super organically and we instantly connected on this crazy concept for a song. We all saw the vision for it almost right away. That's a rare and beautiful thing when it happens. We still don't think we know exactly what we made. We never had to stop to think about it. We just made it.”
The press release describes “Paradise” as a track built around electronic elements, keys, percussion and contrasting vocal performances from Eric Vanlerberghe and Amira Elfeky. Those descriptions are presented in the source material as part of the song’s sonic framing.

I Prevail formed in Metro Detroit, Michigan in 2013. The press release identifies the band as a metalcore and post-hardcore act and describes them as Grammy-nominated and Platinum-certified.
The band’s first album, Lifelines, was released in 2016 and, according to the press release, achieved gold status in both the United States and Canada. The source material also states that TRAUMA, released in 2019, achieved gold status in Canada.

Through “Paradise”, I Prevail add another documented collaboration to a recent period that has also included work connected to Trash Boat and Halestorm within the Rockum archive. The track places Amira Elfeky alongside the band in a release framed by the press material around contrast, vocal interaction and shared writing rather than a standard album announcement.
