Prong have announced Prong, the band’s self-titled debut album for Napalm Records. The album is scheduled for release on November 6, 2026.

The record includes 11 main tracks, with two bonus tracks listed for the CD edition: “Out Of Body” and “Cruel Summer.” The latter is identified in the source material as a cover of the Bananarama song.

Prong is presented as a self-titled statement for the band’s first album with Napalm Records. The source material describes the record as drawing from the elements associated with the band’s history, including industrial, thrash, alternative rock and New York Hardcore.

Frontman Tommy Victor connected the self-titled album to a new period for the band, the label change and the sound of the record.

“This could be the best PRONG album to date,” Victor said. “It's definitely the best sounding PRONG album ever, with the incredible Andy Sneap mixing and mastering it! This record represents a new lease on life for PRONG with a new label, a fresh attitude with faster and heavier songs, bigger hooks and top-notch sound quality. That's why it's self-titled; it's a redefining episode for PRONG!”

The album was mixed and mastered by Andy Sneap at Backstage Studios.

Prong emerged from the New York heavy music underground connected to CBGB and the late 1980s scene. The source material places the band in the same broader period as Gorilla Biscuits, Madball, Sick Of It All and Biohazard.

The press material identifies Beg To Differ, released in 1990, and Cleansing, released in 1994, as formative records in the band’s catalog. It also notes the band’s connection to MTV’s Headbangers Ball and frames Prong as a group whose sound brought together New York Hardcore, groove-based metal, industrial textures and melodic elements.

The source material also lists festival appearances connected to the band’s history, including Wacken, Rockpalast and Brutal Assault.

LINEUP

The lineup listed in the source material is:

Tommy Victor — guitars, vocals

Tyler Joseph — drums

Across Prong, the band present a self-titled Napalm Records debut that connects a new label chapter with the industrial, thrash, alternative metal and New York Hardcore elements associated with their catalog. The album also documents Andy Sneap’s role in mixing and mastering the record, while the Prong Uprising European dates place the release cycle directly into a November 2026 touring schedule.
