DevilDriver have released the official video for “Strike and Kill”, the title track from the band’s new album Strike and Kill, scheduled for release through Napalm Records.

The title track follows previous album singles “Dig Your Own Grave” and “Dead In The Water.” Rockum previously covered those earlier parts of the album cycle in DevilDriver Announce 'Strike and Kill' Album and Release 'Dig Your Own Grave' Video Ahead of 2026 Tour and DevilDriver Preview 'Strike and Kill' With New Single 'Dead In The Water' and Official Video.

“Strike and Kill” is described by frontman Dez Fafara as a song about consequences, hard lessons and decisions made under emotional pressure.

“‘Strike and Kill’ is a song about individuals that have to learn lessons the hard way,” Fafara said. “Sometimes in life, you need to learn things the hard way in order to make your next decision or next move properly. Beware the moves you make at midnight behind emotion and without any thought of consequence. For you will learn lessons, and they will be taught to you the hard way.”

The source material connects the track to the heavier side of DevilDriver’s sound, referencing elements of melodic death metal, slam, groove and thrash.

DevilDriver released the official music video for “Strike and Kill.”

Strike and Kill follows Dealing With Demons Vols. 1 & 2. The source material states that Dealing With Demons Vol. 1 spent 15 weeks at No. 1 at metal radio, while Dealing With Demons Vol. 2 received coverage from outlets including Metal Injection, Kerrang! and Blabbermouth.

The press material describes Strike and Kill through the band’s combination of groove metal, melodic death metal elements, blackened atmosphere, heavy riffs and Dez Fafara’s vocal delivery.

The album opens with “Dig Your Own Grave” and continues with “Dead In The Water,” a track the source material connects to the guitar work of Alex Lee and Gabe Mangold. Other tracks referenced in the album description include “Sanctified In Scars,” “In The Moonlight,” “Never Coming Home,” “Ride Or Die,” “Headed For The Fall,” “You’re Just A Ghost,” “Summoning Shadows,” “Shut The Silence On,” “Oath Of Iron” and “All Bets Are Off.”
