The German heavy metal band continue the Teutonic Titans 1976-2026 album cycle with a re-recorded version of “Balls To The Wall” featuring Rob Halford, Matthias Jabs, Rex Brown and Jason Bowld
Accept have released the official video for a newly re-recorded version of “Balls To The Wall”, featuring Rob Halford of Judas Priest, Matthias Jabs of Scorpions, Rex Brown and Jason Bowld.
The song is the second single from Teutonic Titans 1976-2026, the band’s 50th anniversary album, scheduled for release on September 4, 2026 through Napalm Records. The album was produced, mixed and mastered by Zeuss.
Rockum previously covered the anniversary album announcement in Accept Announce 'Teutonic Titans 1976–2026' Featuring Rob Halford, Kirk Hammett, Tobias Forge and 50 Guest Artists and the first single in Accept Release New Version of 'Fast As A Shark' Featuring Phil Anselmo, Kirk Hammett, Mikkey Dee and Billy Sheehan.

“Balls To The Wall” appears on Teutonic Titans 1976-2026 in a newly re-recorded version. The version features Rob Halford on vocals, Matthias Jabs on guitar solo, Rex Brown on bass and Jason Bowld on drums.
Wolf Hoffmann said the choice of Rob Halford for “Balls To The Wall” was direct once his participation was confirmed.
“Rob is the Metal God. I don't need to say any more about him. Once we knew that he would do it, it was an obvious choice to give him 'Balls to the Wall' because it's the best fit imaginable!” Hoffmann said.
Hoffmann also detailed the musicians involved in this version.
“I played all the rhythm guitars. Matthias Jabs from Scorpions played the solo, which is very cool and a huge honor, and it's Rex Brown on bass and Jason Bowld on drums. So that's a really cool package.”
Accept released the official video for the new version of “Balls To The Wall.”
Teutonic Titans 1976-2026 celebrates Accept’s 50th anniversary with 19 reimagined versions of songs from the band’s catalog and more than 50 guest artists.
The album moves through material from the band’s earlier catalog, including songs connected to I'm A Rebel, Restless And Wild, Balls To The Wall and Eat The Heat. The record combines guest musicians with the current Accept lineup and the voice of Mark Tornillo.
Speaking about the anniversary project, Wolf Hoffmann described the album as a way to mark the band’s history with musicians connected to Accept’s legacy.
“There is no better way to celebrate this 50-year anniversary than to have our musical peers, friends, and inspirations come together with us to record these classic ACCEPT songs, which I am honored and proud to share with the World. I hope everyone enjoys this very special record as much as we all enjoyed making it.”

Accept are marking their 50th anniversary with Teutonic Titans 1976-2026, a release built around re-recorded versions of songs from across the band’s catalog and guest appearances from musicians connected to heavy metal, hard rock and related scenes.
The album follows the band’s long history from its formative era through later chapters led by guitarist Wolf Hoffmann. The source material presents the project as a 50-year celebration rather than a standard studio album of newly written material.
Across “Balls To The Wall,” Accept place one of their best-known songs inside the 50th anniversary framework of Teutonic Titans 1976-2026. The version brings together Rob Halford, Matthias Jabs, Rex Brown and Jason Bowld, while the full album documents a wider guest-driven tribute to the band’s catalog, produced, mixed and mastered by Zeuss.
