Walls Of Jericho have announced System Error: Humanity, a new studio album scheduled for release on November 13, 2026 through Napalm Records. The band have also released the official video for the lead single, “The Ascent.”

The album marks the band’s first new studio offering in more than a decade and follows years of live activity, including appearances at Louder Than Life, Hellfest, Tied Down and Furnace Fest.

“The Ascent” is the first single from System Error: Humanity. The source material describes the track as a tense, dissonant and breakdown-driven song built around confrontation, discipline and personal growth.

Vocalist Candace Buckingham said the song is about facing the self without illusion.

“‘The Ascent’ is a crushing blend of dissonant riffs, massive breakdowns, and raw intensity,” Buckingham said. “Lyrically, it's about confronting yourself one hard truth at a time, shedding ego, silencing the noise, and discovering that real strength isn't found at the summit, but in the discipline and honesty it takes to climb. Because growth begins where comfort ends.”

Walls Of Jericho released the official video for “The Ascent.”

The song introduces the sound and message of System Error: Humanity, returning the band to a direct, heavy and confrontational framework.

System Error: Humanity is presented as one of the band’s most aggressive records, with a focus on live energy rather than a polished studio approach.

Candace Buckingham described the album as a direct response to modern pressures around identity, conformity and distraction.

“System Error: Humanity is a raw, unapologetic, and most aggressive record to date,” Buckingham said. “We set out to capture the chaos, intensity, and raw energy of our live show rather than chase perfection. Lyrically, it's a rebellion against the modern forces that fracture identity: comparison, conformity, distraction, and the endless pressure to perform instead of live. At its core, this album is about reclaiming your attention, owning your choices, and becoming who you were before the world told you who to be. Kill the noise. Reclaim yourself.”

System Error: Humanity was produced by Kurt Ballou, guitarist of Converge and producer known for work connected to NAILS, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Code Orange and Every Time I Die.

The source material frames the album as a record built to capture the band’s live force while maintaining a clear and powerful production.

System Error: Humanity includes several guest appearances.

Randy Blythe of Lamb Of God appears on “Broken Mouths Can’t Speak.”

Guy Kozowyk of The Red Chord appears on “Humanity.”

Patsy Puopolo and Matthew Ruby appear on “A Brighter Fire.”

The album opens with “True Til’ Death,” placing the band’s comeback inside a direct and aggressive framework.

The source material describes “The Ascent” and “Untouchable” as dissonant and heavy tracks, while “The Flame” and “Agency” move into a faster, more thrash-driven direction.

Several songs are described as carrying messages of reclamation, self-determination and human rights, including “Agency,” “Borrowed Ground” and “Last Judgement.”

The album also includes “A Brighter Fire,” described as a slower-burning track, before closing with “The Reckoning.”
