The legendary progressive rock supergroup returns November 6 through Frontiers Music Srl with Geoff Downes, Virgil Donati, John Mitchell and Harry Whitley, plus final John Wetton compositions and guest appearances tied to Yes and Dream Theater
ASIA have released “Echo Of You”, the new single and official video from the band’s upcoming studio album, Indigo, scheduled for release on November 6, 2026 through Frontiers Music Srl.
The new album features Geoff Downes alongside the current ASIA lineup of Virgil Donati, John Mitchell and Harry Whitley.
For progressive rock and classic rock fans, the strongest part of Indigo is its connection to the band’s wider history. The album includes some of the final compositions written by the late John Wetton, while former ASIA guitarist and Yes legend Steve Howe appears on “Chesapeake Bay” and Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy guests on the bonus track “Tattoo Indigo (Part 3).”
ASIA remain one of progressive rock’s most recognizable supergroup names.
The band’s original identity was built around musicians connected to major progressive and classic rock histories, including Yes, King Crimson, Emerson, Lake & Palmer and The Buggles. Songs such as “Heat Of The Moment” and “Only Time Will Tell” helped bring melodic progressive rock into a more accessible arena-rock language in the early 1980s.

“Echo Of You” arrives as the latest preview of Indigo.
According to Geoff Downes, the song came from the main writing sessions with Harry Whitley and developed into a track with a stronger focus on electronic textures, spacey production and nostalgic atmosphere.
The song closes the album’s standard tracklist, giving Indigo an ending built around melody, memory, layered production and a classic fadeout that connects the new material to ASIA’s past.
