The 13th Marilyn Manson album is out now through Nuclear Blast Records with nine tracks co-written and co-produced with Tyler Bates, a new “Unalive” video, virtual art exhibit and North American tour with Rob Zombie, The Hu and Orgy
Marilyn Manson has released One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2, his new studio album and the second part of the cycle that began with One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1.
Released worldwide on August 14, 2026 through Nuclear Blast Records, the nine-track album was co-written and co-produced by Manson alongside longtime collaborator Tyler Bates. It is officially identified as the 13th Marilyn Manson album.
The release is accompanied by a new music video for album opener “Unalive,” directed by Anthony Silva, as well as a virtual One Assassination Under God art exhibition combining original visual works, music and audio commentary from Manson.
The album arrives only days before Marilyn Manson begins a major North American co-headlining tour with Rob Zombie, with The Hu and Orgy joining the run.
One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2 continues the musical and visual framework established by its predecessor while moving through industrial rock, metal, dark melodic passages and the cinematic production associated with Manson’s recent collaboration with Tyler Bates.
The album contains nine tracks, including previously released singles “Exit Wound” and “Front Toward Enemy,” alongside the newly released “Unalive.”
Rockum documented the beginning of this album cycle in June when Marilyn Manson announced One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2 and released the “Exit Wound” video.
That announcement established the August release date, Tyler Bates collaboration and North American tour that now move from preview into the album’s active release period.
“Unalive” opens One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2 and now serves as the album’s release-day video.
Directed by Anthony Silva, the visual extends the dark and cinematic presentation that has connected the videos released throughout the two-part One Assassination Under God era.
The song follows “Exit Wound” and “Front Toward Enemy” as the third track from Chapter 2 to receive major visual support.
Rather than introducing another separate project, “Unalive” now places the focus on the completed nine-song album.
One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1 was released through Nuclear Blast in November 2024, beginning the current chapter of Marilyn Manson’s recording career.
The arrival of Chapter 2 completes the two-part concept.
In a statement accompanying the release, Manson described the record directly: “This completes my story.”
That connection gives the new album greater context than a conventional follow-up. The two releases were designed as connected chapters, with Chapter 2 continuing the collaboration between Manson and Tyler Bates while completing the larger cycle established in 2024.
Tyler Bates remains one of the central creative figures behind the current Marilyn Manson period.
Bates and Manson co-wrote and co-produced One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2, continuing a working relationship that has connected Manson’s recent recordings with Bates’ background across rock music and film composition.
That partnership is particularly suited to the cinematic character surrounding the current material, where music, video, artwork and visual presentation increasingly operate as parts of the same project.
The album release also extends beyond music through the One Assassination Under God virtual art gallery.
The online exhibition presents original visual works alongside music created to accompany them, with audio commentary from Marilyn Manson providing additional context for the pieces.
Visitors can move through the exhibition independently, turning the project into another extension of the visual-art component that has accompanied Manson’s career for decades.
The virtual exhibit gives One Assassination Under God another archival layer by connecting the album cycle directly with Manson’s work as a visual artist.

One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2 is available across multiple physical configurations in addition to digital platforms.
Among the vinyl editions is the limited Claymore Edition, a collector variant restricted to 1,800 copies worldwide through the Nuclear Blast store. Nuclear Blast has also listed additional colored vinyl configurations, including green-and-blue marbled and pink-and-red swirl editions.
CD and other physical configurations accompany the vinyl campaign.
Although the album itself is the central story, the number of physical editions gives Chapter 2 an additional collector component during its release cycle.
Only six days after the album’s release, Marilyn Manson will return to the road alongside Rob Zombie.
The 21-date North American co-headlining tour begins on August 20 in West Palm Beach, Florida and concludes September 20 in Concord, California. The Hu and Orgy appear as special guests across the tour.
The itinerary also includes a Canadian stop on September 1 at RBC Amphitheatre in Toronto.

Following the Rob Zombie run, Marilyn Manson has additional U.S. headline and festival appearances scheduled through October and November.
The itinerary includes New Orleans, two nights in San Antonio, two in Austin, Sick New World Texas in Fort Worth and two sold-out shows at The Wiltern in Los Angeles.
One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2 matters because it brings the current Marilyn Manson album cycle to its intended conclusion while connecting several parts of his work at once.
The nine-song record continues the Tyler Bates collaboration established on Chapter 1, completes the two-part narrative, extends the project into visual art through the virtual exhibition and arrives immediately before one of Manson’s largest North American touring runs in recent years.
For Rockum, it also completes an archive that began before the album existed publicly.
