Foghat Announce First Live Album With Current Lineup Live & Loud Across The U.S.A. On Triple Vinyl

The October 30 Foghat Records release captures U.S. performances from 2024 and 2025 on two gold vinyl discs, adds the red-vinyl debut of Earl & The Agitators’ Shaken & Stirred and includes previously unreleased live recordings

Foghat will release Live & Loud Across The U.S.A. on October 30, 2026, marking the first live album featuring the band’s current lineup of Roger Earl, Bryan Bassett, Scott Holt and Rodney O’Quinn.

The collection will be released through the band’s own Foghat Records, with distribution by Select-O-Hits, part of the Sun Records family.

For physical-media collectors, the centerpiece is a triple 180-gram color vinyl edition. The Foghat live material occupies two gold vinyl records, while a third red vinyl LP features Shaken & Stirred by Earl & The Agitators, receiving its first vinyl release.

A double CD edition is also scheduled, while a limited quantity of numbered and autographed vinyl copies has been made available separately. The first single from the live album, “My Babe,” is out now digitally.

Live & Loud Across The U.S.A. was assembled from concerts recorded in cities across the United States during Foghat’s 2024 and 2025 tours.

The recordings were not originally made as part of a planned live-album session. Instead, performances were captured as the band toured, eventually providing enough material to document the current Foghat lineup on stage.

Founding drummer Roger Earl explains in the album packaging that many of the performances had never previously appeared as official Foghat live recordings.

That gives the set more archival value than a simple compilation of already available live material.

The vinyl configuration also gives each part of the collection a distinct physical identity: two gold discs for Live & Loud Across The U.S.A. and a red third LP for Shaken & Stirred.

The release documents the current version of Foghat for the first time on a full official live album.

The lineup features:

Roger Earl - drums

Scott Holt - lead vocals, guitar

Bryan Bassett - slide and lead guitar

Rodney O’Quinn - bass, lead and background vocals

Eddie LeFebvre also contributes percussion and background vocals to the live recordings.

Earl remains the founding member connecting the current band directly to Foghat’s original history, while Bassett has been part of the group for more than three decades.

Holt became Foghat’s permanent lead singer and guitarist in 2022 after previously working and recording with the musicians through Earl & The Agitators.

The lineup subsequently recorded Sonic Mojo, released in 2023. The album spent 34 weeks inside Billboard’s Top 10 Blues Albums chart and included two weeks at No. 1, giving Foghat its first No. 1 placement on a Billboard album chart.

The third LP brings another part of the current Foghat story into the collector market.

Shaken & Stirred was originally released digitally in 2018 under the name Earl & The Agitators.

The project grew from sessions involving Roger Earl, Bryan Bassett and musicians who would become closely connected to the current Foghat lineup, including Scott Holt and Rodney O’Quinn.

Its music moves through blues, country, roots music and rock & roll, reflecting many of the influences behind Foghat itself.

Among the recordings is a version of the Johnny Cash song “Guess Things Happen That Way.”

The album was produced, mixed and mastered by Bryan Bassett, and its inclusion in Live & Loud Across The U.S.A. marks the first time Shaken & Stirred has been issued on vinyl.

That makes the third disc more than bonus material: it introduces an existing part of the Foghat family catalog to the vinyl format for the first time.

Live & Loud Across The U.S.A. has a clear place in Foghat’s physical-media catalog because it documents the band’s current lineup rather than revisiting an older archival concert.

The first two records capture performances from the 2024 and 2025 touring period, with many songs receiving their first official live release in these versions.

The third record adds another collector element by bringing Shaken & Stirred to vinyl for the first time.

With two gold LPs, a red bonus LP, a separate double CD edition and limited signed and numbered copies, Foghat are treating the release as both a document of the current band and a new physical addition to a catalog extending back more than five decades.

With Live & Loud Across The U.S.A., Foghat are adding a new live chapter to their catalog rather than simply returning to recordings from the band’s classic era. The October 30 release captures Roger Earl, Bryan Bassett, Scott Holt and Rodney O’Quinn across U.S. performances from 2024 and 2025, while the triple-vinyl edition adds the first vinyl appearance of Earl & The Agitators’ Shaken & Stirred. For Foghat collectors, the combination of newly released live performances, color vinyl and a previously unavailable vinyl title gives the set a distinct place in the band’s physical catalog.
