The September 25 earMUSIC edition expands the 2011 album with “The Sound of Winter,” “Baby Come Home,” Bush’s cover of Joy Division’s “Love Will Tear Us Apart,” remixes and live material across 3LP and 2CD formats
Bush will celebrate the 15th anniversary of The Sea of Memories with a newly remastered and expanded physical edition arriving September 25, 2026 through earMUSIC.
The anniversary release features a new 2026 remaster of the original 12-track album alongside nine bonus tracks, bringing the complete edition to 21 songs.
For vinyl collectors, the centerpiece is a limited heavyweight 180g 3LP gatefold edition. The original album occupies the first two records, while the entire third LP is dedicated to bonus material. A 2CD edition will also be released. Current retail listings confirm the September 25 release date and 3LP configuration.
The physical configuration gives the anniversary edition substantially more than a standard repress.

The 3LP edition is currently listed with barcode 4029759216346. Retail listings describe it as a limited anniversary edition; no numbered pressing quantity has been announced.
A U.S. listing from Revolver currently identifies the 3LP configuration as black vinyl, although the original earMUSIC announcement supplied to Rockum focuses on the 180g format rather than promoting a colored-vinyl variant.
Fronted by Gavin Rossdale, Bush originally released The Sea of Memories in 2011.
The record included “The Sound of Winter”, “Baby Come Home” and “The Afterlife”, with the album becoming an important chapter in the band’s return to recording after an extended studio break.
“The Sound of Winter” went on to reach No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative Songs chart, becoming one of the defining tracks from this period of Bush’s catalog.
Fifteen years later, the anniversary edition places that original album alongside material that originally appeared outside its standard 12-song sequence.
