The digital-only September 18 expansion adds four tracks to the band’s comeback album, including “Calvary Drive,” Steve Aoki collaboration “Hell With Me” and the Billboard No. 1 Alternative Airplay version of “Bedroom Posters” with Good Charlotte
Yellowcard will expand their 2025 comeback album Better Days with a new digital-only Deluxe Edition arriving September 18, 2026 through Better Noise Music.
The band has introduced the expanded release with the previously unreleased “Calvary Drive,” accompanied by an official lyric video.
The deluxe edition expands the original 10-song album to 14 tracks, adding “Calvary Drive,” “Hell With Me” featuring Steve Aoki, the hit version of “Bedroom Posters” featuring Good Charlotte and an “Asleep Version” of “Better Days.”
The album already includes Avril Lavigne on “You Broke Me Too” and Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio on “Love Letters Lost.”
“Calvary Drive” carries particular importance within the history of Better Days because it was the first demo Yellowcard worked on with Travis Barker and songwriter-producer Nick Long.
“‘Calvary Drive’ was the very first demo we worked on with Travis Barker and our friend Nick Long,” singer Ryan Key explains.
“We were just getting a feel for working together over a weekend and had no idea that this idea would be the spark for what became Better Days.”
What began as an initial studio experiment eventually developed into the complete album.
Barker, best known as drummer for blink-182, produced Better Days and played drums on every song. Better Noise originally released the album on October 10, 2025 as Yellowcard’s first full-length studio record in nearly a decade.
The expanded edition also brings several major collaborations from the current Yellowcard era into one 14-track sequence.
Avril Lavigne appears on “You Broke Me Too,” after Barker introduced her to the song during production of the album.
Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio guests on “Love Letters Lost,” while the deluxe edition adds Steve Aoki on “Hell With Me.”
Then there is Good Charlotte.
Yellowcard released a collaborative version of “Bedroom Posters” with Good Charlotte in January 2026, bringing together two bands closely associated with the commercial rise of pop-punk during the early 2000s.
That collaboration subsequently became much more than an additional version of an album track.
“Bedroom Posters” featuring Good Charlotte reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart in May 2026.
It became Yellowcard’s second consecutive No. 1 on the chart after “Better Days,” which had spent three weeks at the top in 2025. For Good Charlotte, “Bedroom Posters” became the band’s first No. 1 on any Billboard airplay chart.
The achievement gives the deluxe edition a notable commercial connection to Yellowcard’s current comeback.
Rather than relying exclusively on the band’s early-2000s catalog, Yellowcard has now generated two Alternative Airplay No. 1 songs from Better Days material.

Unlike many expanded releases built around new vinyl or CD configurations, Better Days (Deluxe Edition) is being announced specifically as a digital-only release.
That distinction is important: Better Noise has not announced a new deluxe physical pressing tied to the September 18 release.
The original Better Days has already been available physically on CD, vinyl and cassette, but the four additional deluxe tracks are currently being presented as part of the digital edition.
Yellowcard disbanded in 2017 before reuniting in 2022, initially around the 20th anniversary period for Ocean Avenue.
That reunion ultimately developed into new songwriting and Better Days, the band’s first full-length album since 2016.
The involvement of Travis Barker became central to that process. Ryan Mendez brought longtime collaborator Nick Long into the writing sessions, and Long helped connect the band with Barker, whose initial involvement expanded into producing the complete record and playing drums throughout it.
The results have also translated commercially at alternative radio, with both “Better Days” and the Good Charlotte version of “Bedroom Posters” reaching the top of Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart.
YELLOWCARD ON TOUR
Yellowcard will remain active on the road around the deluxe release, including North American dates and festivals before joining Good Charlotte for shows across Europe and the United Kingdom in November.

The deluxe edition arrives during a period in which Yellowcard’s reunion has moved beyond nostalgia.
Ocean Avenue remains the foundation of the band’s mainstream legacy, but the current chapter has now produced a new album, collaborations with Travis Barker, Avril Lavigne and Good Charlotte, and two consecutive Billboard Alternative Airplay No. 1 songs.
“Calvary Drive” adds an interesting piece to that story because it takes listeners back to the beginning of the sessions - the first demo Yellowcard developed with Barker and Nick Long before anyone involved knew those sessions would become an entire album.
With “Calvary Drive” now released and Better Days (Deluxe Edition) arriving September 18, Yellowcard are extending a comeback that has already developed well beyond the band’s initial reunion.
The expanded edition connects the first creative spark of the Travis Barker sessions with collaborations featuring Avril Lavigne, Matt Skiba, Steve Aoki and Good Charlotte, while two Billboard Alternative Airplay No. 1 songs show that Yellowcard’s current chapter is producing its own commercial history alongside the catalog that established the band more than two decades ago.
