The first single previews Foghat’s October 30 live album, recorded across the U.S. in 2024 and 2025 with Roger Earl, Bryan Bassett, Scott Holt and Rodney O’Quinn
Foghat have released the official video for “My Babe,” the first single from their upcoming live album Live & Loud Across The U.S.A., due October 30 through Foghat Records and distributed by Select-O-Hits, part of the Sun Records family.
The performance of “My Babe” was recorded in Ferndale, Washington, during the touring period that produced the new collection.
Live & Loud Across The U.S.A. captures performances recorded across American cities during Foghat’s 2024 and 2025 tours and represents the first live album from the band's current lineup of founding drummer Roger Earl, guitarist Bryan Bassett, vocalist/guitarist Scott Holt and bassist Rodney O’Quinn.
According to Earl, the recordings were not initially made with the intention of assembling another Foghat live album.
“We didn’t set out to make a live record - we simply wanted to capture Foghat doing what we’ve always loved to do: playing live,” Earl explains in a message included with the release. He added that many of the performances included in the collection have never previously appeared as official Foghat live recordings. The main album spans two gold-colored vinyl records and includes material recorded in Ferndale, Atlantic City, Miami, Indianapolis, Great Falls, Tracy and Bethlehem. Songs include “My Babe,” “Road Fever,” “Home in My Hand,” “Third Time Lucky,” “Sweet Home Chicago” and the band's longtime live staple “I Just Want to Make Love to You.”
The triple-vinyl package also includes a third red record containing Shaken & Stirred by Earl & The Agitators, the Foghat-related project featuring Earl, Bassett, Holt and other members of the band's extended lineup. Originally released digitally in 2018, Shaken & Stirred has never previously been available on vinyl, according to the band.
The project originated from recording sessions at the Dark Horse Institute in Franklin, Tennessee, after Foghat connected with Tom Mix, a former winner of the band's lyric-writing contest who had returned from military service in Afghanistan and was studying at the facility.

The release follows Foghat's latest studio album, Sonic Mojo, issued in November 2023. That record spent 34 weeks inside Billboard's Top 10 Blues Albums chart, including two weeks at No. 1, giving Foghat their first No. 1 placement on a Billboard chart following the release of a new album.
The band's recent activity has also produced new milestones for its older catalog. In 2025, Foghat received a plaque recognizing 25 million Apple Music plays during a concert in Worcester.

With “My Babe” now receiving its official video, Live & Loud Across The U.S.A. offers a document of where Foghat's current lineup stands onstage more than five decades after the band was formed.
