Filmed across the German band抯 three sold-out Foro Sol shows in 2022, the 4K concert film captures Rammstein抯 stadium production at the closing dates of its North American run
Rammstein will bring their stadium show to movie theaters with Rammstein Live in Mexico City, a new concert film opening worldwide for a limited theatrical run beginning November 4, 2026.
The film was captured during the band抯 three sold-out concerts at Foro Sol in Mexico City on October 1, 2 and 4, 2022, which closed Rammstein抯 North American stadium run. Nearly 200,000 fans attended the three shows combined.
Directed by Paul Dugdale, whose concert-film work has included projects with The Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift, Elton John and Adele, the production was filmed in 4K and documents the large-scale stage, pyrotechnics and industrial production that defined Rammstein抯 global stadium tour between 2019 and 2024.
The film features material spanning the band抯 career, including 揂rmee der Tristen, 揇eutschland, 揇u riechst so gut, 揝onne, 揇u hast and a Mexico City performance of 揟e quiero puta!
Following the theatrical release, Rammstein Live in Mexico City will arrive on physical and digital formats on November 20, accompanied by a live album.
Cinema tickets and full participating-theater listings will become available beginning September 23. Most territories will begin screenings November 4, while France will open the film November 6 and Japan will host screenings November 5 and 18.
The Mexico City concerts concluded the 2022 North American leg of Rammstein抯 stadium production, which had begun in Montreal that August and included seven U.S. stadium stops before reaching Mexico.
