The Slovak singer’s debut album opens with 56,000 equivalent units in the U.S. as “Ain’t In LA” reaches the Hot 100 Top 30 and “Nicole Kidman” debuts at No. 45
ADÉLA has scored her biggest U.S. chart week to date as debut album PRIMA opens at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales and Vinyl Albums charts dated September 19.
The album also debuts at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, the highest entry for a full-length debut studio album in 2026. PRIMA earned 56,000 equivalent album units in the United States during the week ending September 10, according to Luminate.
Of that total, 31,000 units came from album sales, including 12,000 vinyl copies. The vinyl figure was enough to give ADÉLA her first No. 1 on Billboard’s Vinyl Albums chart.
The album was released September 4 through Capitol Records and contains 11 tracks, including “KGB,” “Red Bottoms,” “Ain’t In LA” and “Nicole Kidman.” Universal Music identifies Blake Slatkin and Dylan Brady as co-executive producers of the project.
The album’s momentum is also translating to Billboard’s singles chart.
“Ain’t In LA” jumps from No. 57 to No. 30 on the Billboard Hot 100, giving ADÉLA her first Top 40 hit on the chart, while “Nicole Kidman” debuts at No. 45.
The chart week extends a rapid U.S. breakthrough for the 22-year-old Slovak singer-songwriter, who first gained wider attention through Dream Academy before signing with Capitol Records and releasing her debut EP, The Provocateur, in 2025.
For now, the strongest number belongs to the album itself: PRIMA is simultaneously No. 1 in U.S. album sales and vinyl while opening inside the Billboard 200 Top Five.
