Ozzfest has confirmed plans to return to the United States and the United Kingdom in 2027, marking the revival of the heavy metal festival founded by Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne. A teaser shared through the festival's official social media accounts on September 21, 2026, featured Ozzy Osbourne alongside the American and British flags, announcing that Ozzfest will return to both countries.

The announcement confirms the festival's first planned U.S. edition since December 31, 2018, when Ozzy headlined a New Year's Eve event at The Forum in Inglewood, California. That concert also featured Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Jonathan Davis and Body Count. The 2027 revival will be the first Ozzfest held following Ozzy's death on July 22, 2025.

Sharon Osbourne previously confirmed plans to bring the festival back to Villa Park in Birmingham, England, the venue that hosted Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath's final concert, Back to the Beginning, on July 5, 2025. The festival's latest announcement expands those plans to include the United States, although the American host city, concert dates, participating artists and ticket information have not yet been revealed.

Founded in 1996 by Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, Ozzfest developed into a major touring platform for established heavy metal acts and emerging bands, including Slipknot, System of a Down and Disturbed. The festival expanded beyond North America before its final U.S. edition in 2018. Its planned return in 2027 will continue the event's history under the Osbourne family following the death of its original headliner.
