The “Cum On Feel the Noize” and “Metal Health” band replaces Jizzy Pearl with a Long Island vocalist selected from more than 700 submissions, with upcoming concerts in the United States, Canada and Latin America
Quiet Riot have announced 23-year-old Long Island vocalist John Torra as their new lead singer, replacing Jizzy Pearl following an open audition that attracted more than 700 submissions. The American heavy metal band also revealed an extensive schedule of concerts for 2026 and 2027, including performances across the United States, Canada and Latin America.
Torra previously fronted the New Jersey metal band Fire 'N Ice and attracted attention after sharing videos of himself performing Quiet Riot songs online. His audition recordings generated a strong response from fans, who encouraged the band to consider him for the position. According to band manager Regina Banali, Torra ultimately secured the role after an in-person audition with the musicians.
The new singer joins a lineup featuring bassist Rudy Sarzo, guitarist Alex Grossi and drummer Johnny Kelly. He succeeds Jizzy Pearl, who performed with Quiet Riot from 2013 to 2016 and returned in 2019, remaining with the group until 2026.

Quiet Riot's upcoming performances will introduce Torra to audiences familiar with the band's classic catalog, including “Cum On Feel the Noize” and “Metal Health (Bang Your Head).” Their 1983 album Metal Health became the first heavy metal album to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200, establishing the group as one of the genre's commercially successful acts during the 1980s.
