BLOND:ISH has earned her first No. 1 on a Billboard chart as “Lovers on the Dancefloor,” featuring vocalist Kurtis Wells, climbs from No. 2 to the top of the Dance Airplay chart dated September 26, 2026. The achievement marks a new milestone for the Canadian DJ and producer, whose previous releases have appeared on Billboard's dance rankings.
Released on June 12 through Maison Arts, “Lovers on the Dancefloor” registered a 33% increase in U.S. dance radio plays during the September 11–17 tracking period, according to Luminate. The single debuted on the Dance Airplay chart in July and becomes BLOND:ISH's first No. 1 with her second entry on the ranking.
Her previous Dance Airplay hit, “Never Walk Alone,” featuring Stevie Appleton, reached No. 2 in April 2025. BLOND:ISH also appeared on Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart with “Sorry,” her 2023 collaboration with Madonna, Eran Hersh and Darmon, which peaked at No. 39. Her production credits include an official remix of Taylor Swift's “Fortnight” in 2024.
The new chart-topper also gives Kurtis Wells his first Billboard chart entry and No. 1. For Los Angeles-based independent label and publishing company Maison Arts, the single represents its first Billboard chart-topping release.
