The music streaming platform extends its partnership with Goldenvoice to broadcast both Coachella weekends worldwide, following record viewership in 2026 as the festival prepares to celebrate 15 years on YouTube
YouTube and Goldenvoice have renewed their exclusive livestreaming partnership for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival through 2030, securing worldwide streaming rights for both weekends of the annual California event. The agreement, announced September 23, 2026, extends a partnership that will celebrate its 15th anniversary in April 2027.
The renewal follows a record-breaking 2026 edition, which YouTube reported attracted its highest number of concurrent viewers in Coachella livestream history. The platform did not disclose an exact audience figure or the financial terms of the new agreement.
Under the extended partnership, fans worldwide will continue to have access to performances from multiple festival stages, including the multiview feature that allows viewers to watch several concerts simultaneously. YouTube will also provide exclusive backstage content, artist interviews, Shorts and merchandise purchasing options.
The streaming agreement builds on previous Coachella broadcasts featuring major performances by Beyoncé, BLACKPINK and Justin Bieber. YouTube's Global Head of Music, Lyor Cohen, said the partnership allows artists to reach international audiences beyond the festival grounds while introducing their music to new listeners.
The 2027 Coachella festival is scheduled for April 9–11 and April 16–18 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. The agreement ensures that YouTube will remain the festival's exclusive global livestreaming destination through the end of the decade.
