Anthrax Plays 14-Song Roxy Club Show With Deep Cuts and Three 'Cursum Perficio' Tracks

Anthrax played an intimate 14-song show at The Roxy in West Hollywood on Saturday, September 26, using the club date between two appearances supporting Iron Maiden at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles to dig considerably deeper into the band’s catalog.

The Roxy performance followed Anthrax’s September 25 BMO Stadium set and came one night before the band returned to the same stadium on September 27. While the first Los Angeles stadium appearance featured a shorter support set, the West Hollywood show gave Anthrax room to bring back songs including “Keep It in the Family,” “Now It’s Dark,” “Lone Justice” and “Belly of the Beast.”

Anthrax also performed three songs from Cursum Perficio, the band’s first studio album in 10 years: “It’s for the Kids,” “The Edge of Perfection” and “Everybody’s Got a Plan.” The 12th Anthrax studio album was released September 18, 2026.

The club set closed with “I’m the Man” and “Indians,” after a performance that also included “Caught in a Mosh,” “Madhouse,” “Metal Thrashing Mad,” “Antisocial” and the band’s cover of Joe Jackson’s “Got the Time.”

The Roxy’s official event listing confirms the September 26 Anthrax show was presented by Goldenvoice, with doors scheduled for 8 p.m. and the performance for 9 p.m. Fan-shot footage from the concert subsequently surfaced online.
