The new Wedgewood-Houston music hall launches October 1 before a first-season lineup featuring Jack White, Sting, The Smashing Pumpkins, Limp Bizkit, The Chicks and more
Live Nation will open its new 4,400-capacity Nashville music venue, The Truth, on October 1 with a sold-out, one-night-only performance by Miranda Lambert. The three-level venue was developed by Live Nation and AJ Capital in Nashville’s Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood and is positioned as a new mid-sized destination for touring artists and Music City audiences.
Lambert’s opening-night concert will feature her full band alongside a 12-piece string section. The show will include material from across her catalog as well as previews of songs from her new album Crisco, which arrives October 2 through MCA. Lambert’s official site also lists the October 1 performance as sold out. Live Nation Newsroom

The Truth takes its name from songwriter Harlan Howard’s famous description of a good country song as needing “three chords and the truth.” Designed by Live Nation’s Blueprint Studio, the venue has three audience levels, with Live Nation saying no fan will be more than 150 feet from the stage. The building incorporates several Nashville-focused details, including a Lyric Lobby chandelier that projects lyrics from the evening’s performer, a Set List Studio using a vintage letterpress to print nightly setlists and a two-story Vinyl Room inspired by Japanese listening lounges. Harlan’s, the mezzanine bar, features a collection of Tennessee whiskey producers. Music Business Worldwide
Following Lambert, The Truth’s opening calendar includes sold-out shows from Malcolm Todd, Role Model and Freya Skye. The venue’s first season will also bring Jack White, The Chicks, Sting, The Smashing Pumpkins, HARDY, Beck, GloRilla, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Bleachers, Limp Bizkit, Foster the People, Goose, Orville Peck, Jodeci and Stephen Wilson Jr., among others. Before the official October 1 opening, students from the nearby W.O. Smith Music School will become the first musicians to perform on The Truth’s stage during a soft-opening event. Live Nation has also entered multi-year commitments with the school and the Nashville Songwriters Association International. Music Business Worldwide
The project was first announced in October 2025 as part of Live Nation’s broader expansion of its U.S. venue portfolio. At that time, the company projected that The Truth could generate approximately $74 million in annual economic impact, support 430 jobs and contribute around $6 million per year in state and local tax revenue.
