The original KISS guitarist brings former bandmate Paul Stanley back into the studio for a new take on a rock classic
More than eighteen years after last recording together, Paul Stanley and Ace Frehley have finally reunited on a new track. Fans can hear the long-awaited collaboration through Rolling Stone, marking a landmark moment for KISS followers who have hoped for a musical reunion between the two influential players.
The occasion arrives with the release of Origins Vol. 1, the new album by original KISS guitarist Ace Frehley. Set for release on April 15, the record features twelve reimagined classic rock tracks and an impressive list of guest appearances. The most notable partnership is Stanley’s contribution to a new rendition of “Fire and Water” by FREE. It is the first time the pair have collaborated since “Psycho Circus” in 1998.
