Sold-out stadiums, multimillion-dollar grosses and a global metal phenomenon in motion.
When Iron Maiden launched The Book of Souls World Tour, the legendary British heavy metal band once again proved why they remain one of the most powerful live acts on the planet. According to industry data published by Billboard, the tour’s stops across North and South America delivered remarkable attendance figures and impressive box office numbers, highlighting a demand that many contemporary artists can only dream of matching.
In Central America, Maiden sold out the Estadio Nacional Jorge Mágico González in San Salvador, packing all 22,041 available seats and grossing more than 1.3 million dollars. Just two days later, nearly 17,000 fans gathered in San José, Costa Rica, a clear reminder of how deeply metal culture thrives throughout Latin America.
South America offered some of the most staggering results. The band obliterated capacity records in Santiago, Chile, bringing more than 54,000 fans to the Estadio Nacional. Argentina responded with two massive shows in Córdoba and Buenos Aires, while Brazil delivered some of the tour’s largest numbers with multiple full-capacity venues. At Allianz Parque in São Paulo, Maiden grossed more than 2.8 million dollars on a single night.
In North America, the momentum remained strong. Maiden sold out the legendary Madison Square Garden in New York City and filled major arenas in Canada and the United States, including packed nights in Montreal, Toronto, Chicago and Edmonton.
Ticket prices varied dramatically by region, with some South American markets offering entry as low as the equivalent of 14 U.S. dollars, while premium seating in Brazil reached more than 200. This dynamic reflected both the diversity of the fanbase and the economic disparities the band navigates globally while still filling every seat.
Throughout the tour, opening slots were shared by Anthrax and The Raven Age, giving fans a full night of heavy metal heritage and modern promise.
What makes these numbers remarkable is not only the scale but the consistency. Cities thousands of miles apart reported near-perfect capacity attendance. Maiden managed to pack stadiums and arenas night after night, proving that heavy metal remains a formidable cultural force beyond streaming algorithms and chart metrics.
More than forty years into their career, Iron Maiden continue to defy gravity. The Book of Souls Tour was another chapter in a legacy defined by loyalty, spectacle and the unbreakable bond between band and audience.
As long as Eddie flies, the world will follow.
