The Peruvian alternative hard rock band D.O.C. released - during the worldwide quarantine - their new single “Resistir.” With our world now being on lockdown, this song “Resistir” in English “Resist” is a call of encouragement for people.
Bandleader and composer Javier Roman says about the song: “Resist at this moment is crucial,” "The band shows that we can go on believing in ourselves, and music sometimes helps during these moments" "We shot the video clip in one of the most beautiful landscapes that abound in Peru, a place called Mala".
The song recorded at “La guarida records” was produced by Jean-Paul Girbau. Now they are working at home thinking on an E.P. for the next months in the voice o their recently added frontwoman Paola Mora and support musician Antonio Rosales.
The band concludes the work for this new track also during quarantine in the hands of Manuel Vasquez, former bassist of the group and producer/camera editor of the clip. He made a significant effort to finish his work in the middle of a global emergency.
