Texas-based hard rock quartet KINGDOM COLLAPSE has joined rock’s elite and cracked both the Billboard Mainstream Rock Top 40 (#39) and Mediabase Rock Top 40 (#36) with their single, “Uprise,” all while independent. “Uprise” was also the #1 most played song on SiriusXM Octane this past week.

Featuring Jonathan Norris on vocals, Robert Flores and David Work on guitar, Blake Suarez on bass and David Sanchez on drums, “Uprise” is an anthem that's both of-the-moment and relevant to today's times.

Speaking about the accomplishment, Norris says: “Our fans have been very supportive of the new single, and we’re incredibly thankful for SiriusXM Octane and all of the stations that are spinning ‘Uprise.’ It’s an honor to see our name on the charts with bands I grew up listening to and I’m looking forward to seeing what the future holds for the band.”

Norris co-wrote the song with acclaimed songwriter Ted Bruner, who has penned such massive radio rock hits as “Porn Star Dancing” (My Darkest Days), “Fallen Angel” (Three Days Grace), and has also had success writing with the likes of Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus. Says Bruner, “These guys are one of the most hardworking and talented independent band/management teams I’ve ever worked with.”

“I’m very proud of what Jonathan and the band have accomplished,” says manager Aaron Smith. “We’ve all been working tirelessly over the past few years to build this, and it’s an incredible feeling to see how positively people are responding to ‘Uprise.’” This may be the world’s first mainstream taste of KINGDOM COLLAPSE, but the band has quietly amassed over two million YouTube views and over 900,000 Spotify streams leading up to the release of ‘Uprise.’.

“Uprise” is climbing at active rock radio and is being pushed by Land Shark Promotion Studio.

KINGDOM COLLAPSE‘s sound - melodic, heavy riff-based rock – has garnered millions of streams of band’s music catalog across multiple music platforms. The band ended 2019 with their infectious single “Payback,” which got spins on Sirius/XM’s Octane and landed national press coverage.
