John Cooper, the frontman and bassist for the Grammy-nominated rock band SKILLET, has criticized Twitter for permanently suspending President Donald Trump's account.

Earlier this week, the controversial social media platform crossed a line too far. It suspended the United States president's personal account, @realDonaldTrump, citing "the risk of further incitement of violence." Millions considered that action as an attack on freedom of speech and one of the greatest censures to be remembered in the world's history.

Earlier yesterday (Saturday, January 9), Cooper uploaded the latest episode of his "Cooper Stuff" podcast in which he suggested that Twitter's decision to restrict Trump from broadcasting his message directly to his millions of followers was a form of censorship and that it amounts to an attack on freedom of speech.

If Twitter has the power to censor the president, what does that mean? I think that's what people are freaking out about.

John Cooper, el líder y bajista de la banda de rock nominada al Grammy SKILLET, ha criticado a Twitter por suspender permanentemente la cuenta del presidente Donald Trump.

A principios de esta semana, la controvertida plataforma de redes sociales cruzó demasiado la línea.
