It's exciting to be able to share with you the debut album of Madrid's MURMUR, entitled 'Pvtrefactio', because we are convinced that we are witnessing (and participating in) the birth of something big. After a first EP released in 2020, Murmur have just joined the BLACK HEAVEN roster for the release of this first album and we can assure you that they are determined to make their mark on the extreme metal scene.
This is how the band defines itself: Murmur is a band from Madrid, born in 2018 and that is difficult to fit into a specific genre but that presents a very defined and very own concept. There are those who fit us into black metal, others more for the progressive side, we were born with roots of a more classic death metal... in the end it's all that communion, that well integrated, gives you the personality as a band. The project was started by Beatriz Bennett, vocalist, together with Igor Teterycz, guitarist, who joined Murmur as their first band. Later Alex Lázaro joins, who from the beginning comes with the idea of giving it a different style. We are lucky to be 3 people who understand each other perfectly, who practically share the same philosophy on and off stage.
