German metalcore veterans NEAERA have released a video for their latest single, "All Is Dust," the title track of their upcoming album set for release on June 28th via Metal Blade Records.
Guitarist Stefan Keller comments, "'All Is Dust' is a brutal song that highlights the inextricable human dilemma of man’s (ir)relevance in the vastness of space and time."
NEAERA’s eponymous comeback album was released on February 28, 2020, following a seven-year hiatus. Despite its success, the pandemic postponed their return to live stages, with only one sold-out release show on February 29, 2020.
In 2021, NEAERA began working on new material, adopting an old-school writing approach. They recruited Janosch Rathmer from Long Distance Calling to record "All Is Dust," with mixing and mastering by Kristian Kohle at Kohlekeller Studios.
Lyrically, "All Is Dust" focuses on individual survival and sanity in these challenging times, with themes of global and social turmoil.
Fuze Germany describes the album as “atmospheric, heavy, energetic, and old school in the best sense," praising its mix of new ideas and old strengths.
The album features cover art by Giannis Nakos of Remedy Art Design and will be available in CD, digital formats, and various vinyl color variants. Limited edition boxsets and album/ticket bundles for an exclusive record release show in Münster, Germany, on September 14th will also be available.
