About 'Return to the Halls'
'Return to the Halls' marks a significant evolution for Post Pulse, blending the intensity of death metal with diverse musical influences. This album reflects the band's growth and commitment to innovation in their sound.
"Antti [Karhu]'s vision for this record was so inspiring that we decided to break away from seven years of releasing singles and EPs to bring it to life. The music on 'Return to the Halls' is different from anything you may have heard from Post Pulse over the years." - Sam Roon, Bass & Synths
Inside 'Return to the Halls'
The album features "Taste of Freedom," showcasing the band's move towards a more expansive sound. The unorthodox writing process and eclectic arrangements highlight the band's creative approach.
"Even the writing process for this album was unorthodox. We focused on the energy and emphasis of the songs, rather than individual parts, to realize our vision." - Antti Karhu, Guitar & Programming
Cultural Impact
'Return to the Halls' ignites a dialogue on music's role in culture, emphasizing music as a unifying force in a divided world.
"This world is a relentless cesspool of political and religious division. Post Pulse aims to counter that by standing with those who understand there's more to life than divisive influencers. We welcome all music lovers." - Sam Roon
