Witherfall has released a new album titled 'Sounds of the Forgotten'

Los Angeles-based dark melodic metal band Witherfall proudly releases their fourth full-length album, "Sounds of the Forgotten," via Deathwave Records.

"The long wait is over. The CDs and vinyls are in your hands. We proudly present the title track 'Sounds of the Forgotten,' the final piece from our latest album.

"What began as a dreamy acoustic guitar passage evolved into an epic arena rock-metal-prog anthem. This track nods to our darker influences from the '90s, including Type O Negative and Alice In Chains. The dark and majestic purple theme of the album cover reflects this track's essence. We hope you enjoy it and look forward to hearing your thoughts online. It took many months and much of our sanity to bring this work to you. Until the next one...

About Witherfall:

Formed in Los Angeles in 2013, Witherfall was founded by Joseph Michael (Sanctuary) and Jake Dreyer (ex-Iced Earth/Demons & Wizards). The band has released three acclaimed albums: Nocturnes and Requiems (2017), A Prelude to Sorrow (2018), and Curse of Autumn (2021), along with the Vintage EP (2019). Renowned drummer Marco Minnemann (The Aristocrats, Steven Wilson) returns for an album-only appearance on the new record. The current lineup includes bassist Anthony Crawford (Allan Holdsworth, CHON), drummer Chris Tsaganeas (Wax Owls), and multi-instrumentalist Gerry Hirschfeld (Willie Nelson).
